Curriculum At The Appleton Project.
Education built around the individual, not the institution.
At The Appleton Project, we offer a broad, balanced and highly personalised curriculum.
While we are not a school, our curriculum reflects the intent and breadth of the National Curriculum, adapted to each student’s emotional readiness, learning style and personal interests.
🎓 Our Core Curriculum Includes:

PSHE & RSE — covering emotional wellbeing, relationships, consent, and online safety.
Life Skills — food preparation, hygiene, budgeting, digital literacy, travel confidence.
Physical Education (PE) — daily movement, games, yoga, outdoor exercise and sports-based challenges.
Nature-Based Learning — gardening, animal care, seasonal projects and land-based science.

🌿 A Curriculum That Rebuilds Belief
The Appleton Project curriculum isn’t just about catching up — it’s about reconnecting young people with learning, confidence and their own potential. Whether they stay with us for a term or a year, every student leaves with stronger skills, deeper self-awareness, and the knowledge that they are capable.
